![]() ![]() It’s constantly trying to exclude “background noise” even if that’s a part of your presentation. Zoom’s noise cancelation is great for 40 people trying to talk at once with live mics, but it’s terrible for situations like this. What do I need to look at in order to solve this? Within Zoom, the camera and microphone settings are both pointing to Blackmagic Design, and it's all fine when there's only one source of incoming sound. Looking at the audio panel in the ATEM Control Software, both feeds seem to be captured fine, and it all sounds like it should when listened to through the headphone jack on the ATEM. However, when both sources of audio are being captured simultaneously (the presenter is talking over a film clip of a dam breach or something), attendees in the Zoom room can only hear the laptop audio or the presenter audio, but not both. When both are playing together, they sound great when listened to through the headphone jack on the ATEM itself. ![]() If the presenter's slides include sound, that sound is captured over that HDMI.īoth the microphone and any audio from the presenter's laptop sound great individually. The presenter has a lav mic, and his laptop is connected to the big screen at the front of the room and to the ATEM Mini via HDMI. There's a camera set up looking at a presenter, who's presenting with slides. I'm streaming a conference to Zoom using an ATEM Mini Extreme. ![]()
